     Matthews brings decades of leadership, administration, and football vision to the University of Rio Grande football program.
     A long-time law enforcement leader, Matthews previously served as police chief at Hocking College, where he also played a major role in helping establish the school’s football program.
     His background combines organizational leadership, student support, and program building, making him a valuable resource in football operations and player development.
     Matthews has consistently focused on helping young men succeed through structure, accountability, and mentorship.
