RIO GRANDE, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande has parted ways with men's basketball head coach Ryan Arrowood.
The decision, which was made last week, was officially announced on Monday by school officials.
Arrowood, a former player and assistant coach at the school, compiled a 106-73 record in six seasons as the head coach of the RedStorm.
Rio Grande recently completed its 2025-26 season with a 17-13 record after losing to Indiana University Kokomo in the semifinal round of the River States Conference tournament.
During Arrowood's tenure, the RedStorm recorded a pair of NAIA national tournament appearances and five winning seasons overall. He also coached a trio of players who earned All-American accolades along with a pair of RSC Players of the Year.
"Coach Arrowood spent six years at Rio sharing his love for the game and bringing a ton of enthusiasm to the program," said Rio Grande athletic director Jeff Lanham. "We appreciate everything he gave during his time here and hope the future brings him great things."
Lanham said that a search for a new head coach is currently underway and the school hopes to announce its new hire in the coming weeks.
