     WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The University of Rio Grande men's volleyball team won for a second straight time and set a new season-high attack percentage in a 25-15, 25-14, 25-20 rout of Carolina University, Tuesday night, in non-conference men's volleyball action at Williams Gymnasium.
     The RedStorm improved to 10-8 with the win, completing a season sweep of their hosts in the process.
     The Bruins lost for the 14th time in 15 outings.
     Rio Grande finished with a .367 attack percentage, tallying 37 kills and just eight errors in 79 total swings, and did not have an error in the second set.
     That swing figure surpassed the previous season-best mark of .345, which was set in a straight sets sweep of Bethany College on Feb. 3.
     Sophomore Daniel Rivas (Valle Del Cauca, Colombia) had 11 kills for Rio Grande, which substituted liberally and had 14 players see action.
     Sophomore Camilo Murillo (Cali, Colombia) had 31 assists, eight digs, four service aces and a solo block. Senior Josef Iten (Sacramento, CA) also had a solo block.
     Carolina had 18 kills and 13 errors in 70 attacks for a .071 percentage.
     Fritz Hall had seven kills to pace the Bruins, while Jacob Grenier-Richie had 15 assists and Ruben Ordonez was credited with eight digs.
     Rio Grande returns to action on Friday night when it opens a two-game road swing at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
