     OXFORD, Ohio - University of Rio Grande senior Tyler Jenkins has been named the River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
     The Barnesville, Ohio product set a new school and personal record at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn., leading the No. 23 RedStorm to a third-place finish as a team in a field which included No. 3 Cumberlands (Ky.) and No. 6 Milligan - the only two teams which finished ahead of the RedStorm.
     Jenkins traversed the 8k course in a time of 24:16.
