     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - For the second time this year, Ella Skeens from the University of Rio Grande has been selected River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance.
     The latest award is for her play Nov. 28-Dec. 4.
     A senior from Chillicothe, Ohio, Skeens averaged 34.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 3.0 assists per game. That came in a pair of RSC victories as the RedStorm improved to 9-1 overall and moved up to No. 14 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll.
     For the week, Skeens shot 47 percent from the field, 5-for-11 from 3-point range and 94 percent (17-for-18) from the foul line. She had two 30-point games with 30 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and four steals at Point Park and 38 points, 14 rebounds and five steals versus WVU Tech.
