Big week earns Rio's Skeens national Player of the Week honor

     KANSAS CITY, Mo. - University of Rio Grande senior guard Ella Skeens was named the NAIA Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
     The Chillicothe, Ohio native had a terrific week for the 14th-ranked RedStorm, averaging a double-double over her team's two games.
     She started the week with a 30 point, 13 rebound performance against Point Park University and ended the week with 38 points and 14 rebounds against WVU Tech - both Rio Grande victories.
