RedStorm women 2nd at ALC Last Shot

     DANVILLE, Ky. - The University of Rio Grande women's golf team posted a second place finish at the Alice Lloyd College Last Shot, which wrapped up its two-day run on Sunday at the Old Bridge Golf Course.
     The RedStorm finished with a 36-hole total of 148-over par 724.
     Bluffton University won the event at 112-over 688.
     Bluffton's Hope Manning and Keylee Goerss tied for medalist honors at 15-over par 159.
     Rio Grande's top individuals were junior Maddi Meadows (Gallipolis, OH) and freshman Lindsey Martin (Lawrenceburg, KY), both of whom tied for third place at 23-over par 167.
     Also representing the RedStorm was sophomore Kimmi Aubrey (Wellston, OH), who placed seventh at 47-over 191 and freshman Julia Hancock (Martins Ferry, OH), who finished eighth at 55-over par 199.
     Rio Grande is scheduled to return to action on Friday at the Indiana University Kokomo Spring Invitational.
