Rio's Evans concludes season in national tourney

     PARK CITY, Kan. - University of Rio Grande freshman Alexandria Evans went 0-2 in Friday's opening day of action in the NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship at Park City Arena.
     Evans, who hails from Barboursville, W.Va., was the RedStorm's only representative in the national event and participated in the 103-pound division.
     Evans was trailing Alexis Miller of Oklahoma City University, 6-0, when she was pinned at the 1:34 mark of their opening round match.
     She then dropped a 12-1 technical fall decision to Wayland Baptist's Calli Connally in a consolation round bout that was halted at the 1:24 mark.
